A picture of my Dye (Grandad), Harry Adamson, late of 14 Oak Street Kelty, circa 1915 when he was 17. He is the first on the left on the front row.The picture was taken in France, during WWI.
All the men are from Kelty, they all enlisted at the same time (I remember my Dye telling me that they all walked miles to somewhere like Burntisland to enlist). My Dye was the only one who came back; he was invalided out because of stomach ulcers.Unfortunately I don’t know the names of any of the others.
If anyone can help with names of the other soldiers Iain Lowe would really appreciate it.
